Turning your Grandparents Day coloring pages into cards

Turn these coloring pages into a greeting card!
Here are four ways in which you can go about it. We’ll explain them in a bit more detail below, so you’ll know exactly how to set up your printer and where to find the foldable designs for the right results!
- Print 4 pages on cardstock and cut them into A6 Cards
- Print our foldable A4 design on cardstock and fold it in two
- Print our foldable A4 design on regular paper, cut, and glue onto folded cardstock
- Print our foldable A4 design on regular paper and fold it in two.
Personally, I think the first two options are the prettiest. They give that real greeting card feel because of the sturdy cardstock. But if you’re just looking for a quick and sweet card for the grandparents, the last two options work just fine too.
#1 Print 4 pages on cardstock and cut into A6 Cards
This is the best option if you need to print a bunch of coloring pages and cards, for example for your classroom, or if you have more kids. It’s super easy and looks great!
- Download all of our Grandparent’s Day coloring pages here and click print
- In the printer settings, under “pages to print”, you can print all pages or tell your printer to only print selected pages if you have a few favorites
- Then tell your printer to print 4 of these pages on one sheet of cardstock. You will find this setting under “sizing or page handling”, or something similar. And then select “4” under pages per sheet. This way, each page becomes a mini card.
- After printing, grab some scissors and cut the page into four smaller cards and you are all done!
#2 Print our foldable A4 design on cardstock and fold it in two
If you want a larger greeting card for the grandparents, I would suggest printing our foldable pages directly onto A4 cardstock. Our foldable pages are basically the same as our coloring sheets, except this time, it’s in landscape orientation with the coloring page on the right side.
So all you need to do is fold, and voila – you’ve got the perfect card for nan and pop. It feels nice and sturdy and has lots of room for your special message inside.
Before you print all pages on cardstock, do a test with one page to make sure everything looks good.
#3 Print foldable design on regular paper, cut and glue on cardstock paper
If you’re not sure your printer likes cardstock, no worries! Just choose your favorite coloring page from our foldable PDFs (or print them all), and then print it on regular paper. Next, cut it out, and glue it onto a cardstock that’s folded in half.
It looks awesome that way too, and you don’t have to worry about your printer’s compatibility with cardstock.
